The monthly bulletin provides more essential short-term statistics (monthly and quarterly data) for 2008 and annual statistics for 2007 on many spheres. Environment, population and socio-economic life are under observation. The first article of each monthly provides a detailed analysis of the development of one subject field of Estonia or of the topics connected with the production of statistics. The subject field article presents an overview relating to the topic, diagrams and tables are also provided. There are longer time series at the end of most articles. In some articles Estonia is compared with other European Union Member States. Articles on methodology are also published. The time series of main indicators with the diagrams reflecting main social and economic trends since 2002 are presented in a separate part. The bulletin also includes comparative data on Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, a list of statistical publications that have been issued since the beginning of the year and a list of articles published in the monthly bulletins from the beginning of the year. The monthly bulletin is published in the last week of each month. Addressed to all persons who regularly need short term statistics with comments.
