According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2008 the percentage change in the producer price index was 0.7% compared to March 2008 and 7.3% compared to April 2007.
In April compared to March 2008 the producer price index was mainly influenced by the increase in prices in energy supply, mining, in the manufacture of leather and leather products and in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products. Compared to April 2007 the producer price index was mainly influenced by the increase in prices in energy supply, mining and in the manufacture of food and beverages.

In April 2008 the percentage change in the export price index was 0.4% compared to March 2008 and 5.2% compared to April 2007.
In April compared to March the export price index was mainly influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of chemical products, rubber and plastic products and metal products.
In April 2008 the percentage change in the import price index was 0.7% compared to March 2008 and 5.5% compared to April 2007.
In April compared to March the import price index was mainly influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of mineral fuels, metal products and in the production of agricultural products and food products.
