According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2012, exports from Estonia amounted to 1.1 billion euros and imports to Estonia to 1.3 billion euros at current prices. Both, the turnover of exports as well as imports, were record high, at the same time the trade deficit increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2012, exports of goods from Estonia increased by 7% at current prices and imports to Estonia by 14% compared to June of the previous year. Faster growth in imports compared to exports increased also the trade deficit.

A small decrease in exports was also influenced by the record high basis in May of the previous year. Compared to April this year, the trade increased in May.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, exports decreased already for the second month in succession, which is also influenced by the high comparison basis last year. Trade decreased also compared to March.
