The electronic yearbook presents data on the anthropogenic pressure which gives rise to environmental problems (emissions into the air, waste generation, wastewater discharge, use and emissions of chemicals and ozone depleting substances, etc.). The emphasis has been laid on the year 2004. Comparisons are drawn with previous years, other countries and targets set in the Estonian environmental strategy. The data are also provided by counties. The definitions of terms and short description of the methodology have been added. The information has been provided in overviews, diagrams and tables. Addressed to users more interested in the subject.
