In November producer prices increased compared to the previous month

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2009 the producer price index increased 0.1% compared to October and decreased 2.0% compared to November 2008.

In November compared to the previous month the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of wood products and by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of beverages. Compared to November 2008 the prices increased most in mining.

In November 2009 the export price index increased 0.2% compared to October 2009 and decreased 3.6% compared to November 2008.

In November compared to the previous month, the export price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of wearing apparel, forestry and in the manufacture of wood products and by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of food products and textile products.

In November 2009 the import price index increased 2.1% compared to October 2009 and decreased 1.2% compared to November 2008.

In November compared to the previous month, the import price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices of mineral fuels, forestry and wood products and by the decrease in prices metal products and food products.
