According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2010 the percentage change in the producer price index was 0.4% compared to December 2009 and -0.7% compared to January 2009.
In January compared to the previous month the producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the manufacture of beverages, in the manufacture of metals and by the decrease in prices in the manufacture of chemical products. Compared to January 2009 the prices increased in the manufacture of wood and wood products and decreased in the energy supply and in mining.

In January 2010 the export price index increased 1.0% compared to December 2009 and decreased 0.7% compared to January 2009.
In January compared to the previous month, the export price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the forestry, in the manufacture of food products, in the extraction of peat, in the manufacture of textiles and in the manufacture of metals.
