Welcome to the Conference of European Forum for Geostatistics, 05–07 October, 2010

Statistics Estonia will be hosting the annual seminar of the European Forum for Geostatistics in 2010. EFGS 2010 Conference is focused on linking Census 2010/11 round results with spatial grids and share the work on GEOSTAT project “Representing Census data in a European population grid“ among the NSI, Eurostat, academia and other interested bodies. Additionally, the last day of the Conference will concentrate on new GIS technologies, paradigms and concepts in Small Area Statistics giving the ideas for further development.

Statistics Estonia welcomes all members of ESSNet GEOSTAT project, EFGS, Eurostat Working Party on Statistics and GIS, geostatisticians from NSI and representatives of other interested bodies dealing with Census GIS and spatial analyses of statistics. The conference language is English, no translation will be provided.
