Did year 2011 bring along positive developments or also setbacks for Estonia? The yearbook provides an overview about the environment, population, social life and economy in the year 2011 in comparison with the three-four previous years. Socio-economic overview and thematic maps characterising Estonia are provided at the beginning of the publication. The information has been presented in texts, tables and diagrams. The publication also presents comparable statistics mainly on European countries. The glossary of statistical terms and definitions and the index have been included at the end of the yearbook. The printed publication is accompanied by a DVD, which presents the work report of Statistics Estonia for 2011 and statistical publications issued in the previous years, as well as the statistical database.
