How to recognize the enumerator?

Between 20 February and 31 March 2012, enumerators will visit all those people who did not participate in the e-census. No one will be visited by an enumerator before that period.

The enumerator

• will always present an employment certificate issued by Statistics Estonia and bearing his/her photo;
• will be wearing a scarf with the census logo and carrying a blue suitcase with a laptop;
• will work between 9:00 and 21:00;
• will use the laptop to record your answers;
• will never ask for you passport details or information about your income;
• will be a nice guest.

If you are not at home, the enumerator will leave a note in your mailbox with his/her name and phone number. Once you get the note, contact the enumerator to agree on a suitable time and place for the interview.
