According to Statistics Estonia, in August of this year the foreign trade deficit amounted to 2.7 billion kroons, the deficit decreased by 38% compared to August of the previous year. The cause of the decrease was the faster growth of exports of goods than that of imports in each month compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
