Construction, 4th quarter 2007
According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2007 the total production of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and in foreign countries amounted to 39 billion kroons, which is 10% more than a year earlier.

According to the Statistics Estonia, at the beginning of academic year 2007/2008, 68,168 students or 599 less students than a year ago were acquiring higher education.

Foreign trade, December 2007
According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in December 2007 the Estonian foreign trade turnover made up 22.4 billion kroons. Compared to December 2006, the foreign trade turnover decreased 6% and, compared to November 2007 it decreased 19%.

Average wages and salaries, 4th quarter 2007
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 4th quarter of 2007, the average monthly gross wages and salaries of full-time and part-time employees of enterprises, institutions and organisations were 12,270 kroons and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 72.43 kroons. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2006, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were by 20.1% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were by 20.2% higher.

Estimations of the Estonian residents on integration, 2007
According to Statistics Estonia, the estimations given by the Russian-speaking Estonian residents, who have knowledge of the Estonian language and the Estonian citizenship, on the status of the Estonian language, on their social identity and on the perception of Estonia as homeland differed significantly from the respective perception of the Russian-speaking Estonian residents who have no knowledge of the Estonian language and no Estonian citizenship.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2008 the percentage change in the producer price index was 1.3% compared to December 2007 and 8.3% compared to January 2007.

Contracts of real estate, 4th quarter 2007
According to Statistics Estonia, 50,000 purchase-sale transactions of real estate and of the right of superficies with the total value of 58.5 billion kroons were carried out in 2007. The number of transactions decreased to the level stated three years ago - 50,600 transactions were contracted in 2004.
