Employment and unemployment, 1st quarter 2013
According to Statistics Estonia, the unemployment rate was 10.2% in the 1st quarter of 2013. The unemployment decreased compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year but increased compared to the previous quarter. The unemployment of young people aged 15–24 increased more rapidly.

Preliminary estimate of economic growth, 1st quarter 2013
According to the flash estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 1% in the 1st quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2013, both exports and imports of goods decreased by 6% at current prices compared to March of the previous year. Exports and imports decreased for two months in succession, in February the trade decreased by 2% in both flows compared to the same month of the previous year.

Accommodation, March 2013
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2013, over half a million foreign and domestic tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which was 5% more than in the same period of the previous year. The number of both foreign and domestic tourists increased.

Consumer price index, April 2013
According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was -0.1% in April 2013 compared to March and 3.1% compared to April of the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, 1,286,000 persons lived in Estonia on 1 January 2013. Due to migration the population declined by more than 6,600 persons, due to the natural increase by 1,400 persons.
