News releases are made public on the web site at 8 a.m. on the day announced in advance in the release calendar (excluding the special news releases which are not announced in the release calender).
News release notification can be ordered on the web site (to place an order, one must register as user). Persons who have ordered the notification will be informed via e-mail about the publication of news release.

According to Statistics Estonia, 64% of the gross value added of the Estonian gross domestic product (GDP) in 2017 was created in Harju county. However, the differences between counties as regards GDP per capita are getting smaller.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2018, the exports of goods increased by 17% and imports by 20% compared to October 2017. For the first time, exports exceeded 1.3 billion euros and imports 1.5 billion euros. The growth in trade was affected the most by an increase in trade in mineral products (solvent, fuel additives, motor spirit, shale oil).
Job vacancies and labour turnover, 3rd quarter 2018

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 3rd quarter of 2018, there were approximately 11,400 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2018, the number of job vacancies remained at the same level. However, compared to the 3rd quarter of 2017, the number of job vacancies decreased by 10%. The number of job vacancies has exceeded 10,000 since the 1st quarter of 2017.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2018, domestic and foreign tourists who stayed in accommodation establishments numbered 274,000, which is 1% more than in October 2017. Compared to October of the previous year, the number of domestic tourists increased and the number of foreign tourists decreased.
Production of industrial output and energy, October 2018

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2018, the production of industrial enterprises increased by 2% compared to October 2017. Production increased in manufacturing and energy, but decreased in mining.
