According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, 90% of households had internet connection at home and it is used daily or almost daily by 98% of 16–44-year-olds. Enterprises contribute increasingly to improving their ICT security measures and policies.

According to Statistics Estonia, by flash estimates, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased by 3.5% in the 2nd quarter of 2010 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

This year, for the first time, Statistics Estonia distributed the deadlines of the EKOMAR questionnaire over a longer period and, depending on the economic activity of the enterprise, the deadline fell in the period of 1–8 July. Out of the 8,000 enterprises that were to submit the questionnaire, 44% submitted EKOMAR in time.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2017, the average gross hourly earnings of female employees were 20.9% lower than the average gross hourly earnings of male employees. After three years of decrease, the gender pay gap remained at the same level as in the previous year.

According to the flash estimates of Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 2.7% in the 4th quarter of 2014 compared to the 4th quarter of 2013. The annual GDP growth in 2014 was 1.8% compared to the previous year.
