According to Statistics Estonia, 280,000 domestic and foreign tourists stayed in accommodation establishments in May 2016, which was 4% more than in May 2015. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists increased.

Secure data interoperability Statistics Estonia received 1,099,300 euros via the innovation fund for the project “Secure data interoperability between sectors”. Economic growth in Estonia was broad-based. In the previous years, the growth was largely due to internal consumption, whereas in 2017, the growth became more broad‑based. The role of household consumption decreased. After years of decline, investments began to increase again as a result of improved economic climate, indicating a positive mind-set of entrepreneurs.
The frequency of ordering products and services online is increasing among users of e-commerce

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2016, 86% of households in Estonia had Internet access at home. There has been an increase in the share of people having used e-commerce services more than five times in the last three months.
