According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2023, exports and imports of goods at current prices decreased by 9% and 1% respectively, compared with the same month in 2022. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, the total production of industrial enterprises fell by 1.9% at constant prices compared with the year before. Of the three main industrial sectors, production increased by 7.3% in mining and by 5.4% in energy production but decreased by 2.7% in manufacturing.

The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, rose by 1.3% in August compared with July 2022 and by 28.3% compared with August 2021.
