According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2023, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,812 euros, which is 10.4% higher than in the same quarter last year. The median wages were 1,500 euros, which is 11.2% more than in the third quarter last year.

In 2019, Estonian residents made 1.7 million overnight outbound trips and 3.5 million overnight domestic trips. In 2024, the number of trips abroad was 9% smaller than in 2019, while the number of domestic trips was almost back at the pre-pandemic level,” said Pukk

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, the construction price index increased by 17.8% compared with the average of 2021. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the construction price index increased by 1.9% compared with the third quarter of 2022. The rise in the index compared with the fourth quarter of 2021 was again record high at 16.1%.

According to Statistics Estonia, accommodation establishments served nearly 237,400 tourists in March 2024, which is 5% more than in March last year. The number of domestic tourists decreased a little, while the number of foreign tourists increased.
