According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2010 compared to June of the previous year, exports of goods grew by 7% and imports by 23% at current prices. Due to a bigger growth in imports compared to exports, the trade deficit increased.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in April 2010 compared to April of the previous year, exports of goods grew by 35% and imports by 16% at current prices. The growth in exports was last registered as big in June 2006.
Construction volume fell by 6% last year

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2023, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad decreased by 6% at constant prices compared with 2022. Considering only the domestic market, the fall in construction volume was 7%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2021, Estonian accommodation establishments served 90,000 tourists, which is nearly one and a half times more than in May last year. The numbers of foreign and domestic tourists both increased.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2011 the production of industrial enterprises grew 26% compared to May of the previous year. If during the last eight months the production grew around 30%, then in May the growth of industrial production slightly slowed down compared to May of the previous year.

According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2019, milk production increased by 3% and meat production by 5%, while egg production was smaller than ever. Compared to 2018, the number of dairy cows, sheep and poultry decreased, while the number of pigs increased.
First machine-to-machine submitted data on wages reached Statistics Estonia

As a result of the cooperation between Statistics Estonia, software company Skriining and Ida-Viru central hospital, the first set of wages data that were submitted directly from the enterprise’s IT system arrived at Statistics Estonia this spring.
