Secure data interoperability Statistics Estonia received 1,099,300 euros via the innovation fund for the project “Secure data interoperability between sectors”. According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2016, the production of industrial enterprises decreased 5% compared to March of the previous year. Production decreased in the energy sector, mining and quarrying, and manufacturing.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2020, compared to May 2019, the exports of goods decreased by 25% and imports by 24%. Compared to April 2020, exports decreased by 2% and imports remained at the same level.
In the 1st quarter, the increase in average monthly gross wages and salaries accelerated slightly

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2016, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,091 euros and the average hourly gross wages and salaries were 6.86 euros. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2015, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 8.1% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries by 7.7%. In the 1st quarter, the average annual growth of monthly gross wages and salaries was slightly faster than in the 4th quarter of 2015.
