The producer price index of industrial output expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports. Statistics Estonia updates the weights system of the producer price index of industrial output and the base prices used for its calculation every year. The weights system corresponds to the industrial sales structure of enterprises in the year before the last. In the first week of December, Statistics Estonia launched the Time Use Survey. The survey takes place every ten years and will end in 2021. Information is collected about how and where people over the age of 10 spend their time and what modes of transport they use.

According to Statistics Estonia, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia in 2013 increased 0.8% compared to the previous year. In the 4th quarter of 2013, the Estonian economy grew 0.3% compared to the 4th quarter of 2012.

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2015 compared to February of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 8% at constant prices. In January the retail sales increased 5% compared to the same month of the previous year, while in February the growth in retail sales accelerated.

The preparation of analytical output using anonymous data from electronic communications, with the purpose to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was assigned to Statistics Estonia by the order of the crisis commission of the Government of the Republic, will not be based on real-time data. There is no plan and it is not possible to use the data to analyse the movement of individuals.
