In April trade decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2012, exports of goods from Estonia decreased by 7% and imports to Estonia by 4% at current prices compared to April of the previous year. Compared to the same month of the previous year, exports decreased already for the second month in succession, which is also influenced by the high comparison basis last year. Trade decreased also compared to March.

Innovativeness of enterprises continually at good level

According to Statistics Estonia, the data from the innovation survey show that 48% of enterprises covered with the survey were technologically innovative in 2008 and 35% of them had implemented during the last three years organisational or marketing innovation. For a quarter of enterprises the innovativeness resulted in environmental benefits either within enterprise or for customer.

More energy and material-efficient production, protecting the environment, manufacturing products with higher value-added as well as eco-design should ensure that human activities are more compatible with the nature's cycles and not a burden on nature. Green economy statistics provide an overview of the environmental goods and services sector’s output; exports; employment; value added; share in total economy. Based on statistics, the state can decide how to manage resources sustainably.

Training sessions

Statistics Estonia organises free training sessions for both users of statistics and data providers: individuals and representatives of institutions, enterprises and organisations. The training sessions take place virtually in Microsoft Teams, at Statistics Estonia or at client location. You can place an order for a training session, if there are at least ten participants.

Producer price indices increased in October
