According to Statistics Estonia, the consumer price index increased 5.2% in March 2011 compared to March of the previous year and 0.8% compared to February this year.

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index was -0.1% in December 2012 compared to November and 3.5% compared to December 2011.

Jane Leppmets, foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that the most significant changes in April concerned extra-EU trade. “Exports to EU countries were up by 8% and imports from the EU fell by 1%. In trade with non-EU countries, exports declined by 10% while imports grew by 16%. Year on year, there were decreased exports from Estonia to the United States, Russia and Singapore, and increased imports from Turkey and Switzerland,” explained Leppmets. According to Statistics Estonia, in June, Estonia’s exports of goods amounted to 1.6 billion and imports to 1.9 billion euros. Compared with June 2022, exports of goods decreased by 14% and imports by 13% at current prices. The trade deficit in June was 271 million euros, which is 33 million euros less than in the same month last year.
