According to Statistics Estonia, in the fourth quarter of 2022, there were 11,289 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 1.7% more than in the same quarter of 2021. Fewer than 7,000 persons left their job at the initiative of the employer.

According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2019, turnover of retail trade enterprises amounted to 646 million euros. Compared to May of the previous year, turnover increased 2% at constant prices. In April, the turnover had increased 8% compared to the same month of the previous year, while in May the increase decelerated.

According to Statistics Estonia, 90,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in March. Their total number of nights spent was 177,000. The number of tourists decreased by 62%.
Enterprises can now compare themselves in eSTAT

Statistics Estonia’s data submission environment eSTAT now allows respondent enterprises to compare their wages, profit and turnover with indicators of the same economic activity and Estonian averages. eSTAT displays personalised statistics currently to nearly 20,000 enterprises.

In August, domestic tourists again outnumbered foreign tourists

According to Statistics Estonia, in August, 331,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments. Their total number of nights spent was 591,000. Compared to August 2019, the number of tourists dropped by a third.
