According to the results of the Security Survey of Statistics Estonia, 26% of the adults i.e. of the 15–74-year-old population of Estonia fall victim to some act of crime in a year.

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the first quarter of 2023, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 15% and imports by 11% at current prices compared with the first quarter of 2022.

Jane Leppmets, a foreign trade analyst at Statistics Estonia, noted that growth in foreign trade in services was most affected by travel services and other business services. “In the third quarter, exports of services to EU countries increased by 8% and imports from EU countries by 4%. Extra-EU exports of services were also up by 8%, however, extra-EU imports were down by 4%. The latter was mainly affected by a decline in purchases of services from the United States,” Leppmets pointed out. Today, on 3 November, Statistics Estonia presents the publication “Changes in the Economy and Labour Market” which outlines the relevant trends in the last decade.

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the second quarter, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 46% and imports of services by 125% year on year. Exports and imports of services amounted to 1.8 billion euros. Foreign trade in services was affected the most by growth in telecommunications, computer and information services, and transport services.
