From 2025 onwards, Statistics Estonia will no longer update short-term labour market statistics. The publication of short-term labour market statistics was based on a commissioning contract and the contract expired in 2024. Interactive charts give an overview of the labour market in Estonia based on the data of the employment register. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2022, Estonian accommodation establishments served over 3 million tourists, which is 52% more than in 2021. There was a rise in the number of both foreign* and domestic tourists.

The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 0.4% in July 2024 compared with June and by 0.8% compared with July last year.

Number of foreign tourists in accommodation establishments increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2022, Estonian accommodation establishments served nearly 420,000 tourists, which is 23% more than in August last year. The number of foreign tourists* increased and the number of domestic tourists fell.

What kind of survey is it? The crop farming survey provides data about areas under cultivation and harvested areas of agricultural crops, production and yield, fertilisers, organic farming, liming, seed use, and autumn sowings of winter crops. A large part of the data are obtained from registers (for example, data on areas under cultivation received from the Agricultural Registers and Information Board and data on units that fill in the electronic field book in e-ARIB), and missing data are collected from respondents with the survey.
