According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2019, a total of 322,000 tourists stayed in accommodation establishments, which is 6% more than in May 2018. There were more domestic and foreign tourists.
According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2019, the labour force participation rate was 70.8%, the employment rate 67.5% and the unemployment rate 4.7%. The labour force participation rate and the employment rate remained at a similar level compared to the same quarter of the previous year. According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2019 compared to December 2018, the change of the consumer price index was –0.2% and compared to January of the previous year, 2.7%.
