According to Statistics Estonia, in October, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 896 million euros. Compared with October 2021, turnover decreased by 4% at constant prices.
According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2022, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 3.8% at constant prices compared to April 2021. Output increased in two of the three industrial sectors: by 3.7% in manufacturing and by 9.6% in electricity production. In mining, output fell by 13.0%.
( 1) ‘Carrying capacity in tonnes’ (ct/l) means the carrying capacity of a vessel expressed in tonnes, not including ships' stores (fuel, equipment, food supplies, etc.). Persons carried on board (crew and passengers) and their baggage are also excluded.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2017, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Estonia increased 4.9% compared to 2016. In the 4th quarter of 2017, the Estonian economy grew by 5.0% compared to the 4th quarter of 2016.
