Statistics Estonia, in co-operation with mobile network operators, analysed, based on anonymous mobile phone data, the mobility of people before and during the emergency situation. According to Statistics Estonia, in 2013 the production of electricity totalled 13 TWh which is nearly 11% more than previous year. The electricity production from renewable sources decreased more than 10% compared 2012.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2018, the average monthly gross wages and salaries of enterprises, institutions and organisations were 1,310 euros, having increased by 7.3% compared to 2017. The average monthly gross wages and salaries increased in all economic activities, being the highest in the 2nd and 4th quarters.

For Museum Day: Museum attendance shows an upward trend

Year 2009 was Museum Year in Estonia. According to Statistics Estonia, in spite of the economic recession, the attendance of museums increased by 8% in 2009 compared to the previous year, amounting to over 2.2 million.
