Industrial production increased in a third of manufacturing activities

According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2020, the production of industrial enterprises decreased by 6% compared to June 2019. Production decreased in manufacturing and mining, while energy production increased owing to last year’s low comparison basis.

Foreign trade declined further in September

According to Statistics Estonia, in September, Estonia’s exports of goods amounted to almost 1.5 billion and imports to nearly 1.7 billion euros. Compared with the same month in 2022, exports of goods decreased by 24% and imports by 22% at current prices. The trade deficit in September was 207 million euros, which is 13 million euros more than in September last year.

What kind of survey is it? The Estonian Health Interview Survey assesses the health status of the Estonian population, the factors influencing it, and the use of health services. The 2025 survey consists of two parts: the core survey, which is part of the fourth wave of the European Union Health Interview Survey and part of the official statistical programme; 18 additional voluntary questions that specify Estonia's needs in shaping health policy. Producer price index continued to fall in December

According to Statistics Estonia, in December, the producer price index of industrial output fell by 0.9% compared to November and by 1.2% compared to December 2018.

Growth in foreign trade in services slowed down in the first quarter

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the first quarter of 2024, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 2%, while imports were unchanged from the same period last year. Sales of services to non-residents totalled €2.8 billion and purchases of services from non-residents amounted to €2.2 billion at current prices. The balance of foreign trade in services was in surplus by €595 million, which is €45 million more than a year earlier.
