Revised data: average wages and salaries were €2126 in the second quarter
According to Statistics Estonia's revised data, in the second quarter of 2025, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were €2,126, which is 5.9% higher than in the second quarter of 2024.
HICP flash estimate: prices up by 0.6% in July

According to the preliminary estimate of Statistics Estonia, the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), which includes the expenditures of tourists, remained unchanged in October 2025 compared with September. Compared with October last year, the HICP rose by 4.5%. This is a flash estimate, which will be refined once more detailed data on October prices are received.
Renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions are the main drivers of Estonia’s output of environmental goods and services
According to Statistics Estonia, the output of environmental goods and services in 2023 was 4.1 billion euros. The value added of the environmental goods and services sector represented 3.9% of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023.
GDP flash estimate: economy grew by 0.9% in Q3
According to Statistics Estonia's preliminary estimate, Estonia's economy grew slightly in the third quarter of 2025. Compared with the third quarter of 2024, the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.9%.
Volume of retail trade turnover up by 4% in September
According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2025, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was €893 million. Compared with September last year, the volume of retail trade turnover increased by 4%.
Construction price index up by 1.7% compared with the third quarter of last year
According to Statistics Estonia, in the third quarter of 2025, the construction price index increased by 0.2% compared with the second quarter and by 1.7% compared with the third quarter of 2024. Year on year, the construction price index was affected the most by the rising prices of building materials.
Producer price index of industrial output rose by 0.5% September
The producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for export, increased by 0.5% in September 2025 compared with August and by 0.5% compared with September last year.
Exports of goods down by 2% in August
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2025, exports of goods decreased by 2% compared with August 2024, while imports increased by 2%. The decline in exports of goods in August was mainly due to a fall in exports to countries outside the EU.
In August, the number of accommodated foreign tourists was up by 4% year on year
According to Statistics Estonia, accommodation establishments served 459,200 tourists in August 2025, which is 1% more than in the same month last year. There were 4% more foreign tourists and 2% fewer domestic tourists than in August last year. The number of tourists from Finland decreased for the fourth consecutive month.
The consumer price index down by 1.1% in September compared with August
According to Statistics Estonia, in September, the consumer price index decreased by 1.1% compared with August and increased by 5.2% compared with September 2024. Goods were 2.8% and services 8.9% more expensive than in September last year.
In August, industrial production grew by 1%
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2025, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 1% at constant prices compared with August last year. Among the three main sectors, output increased by 2.5% in manufacturing and by 0.7% in mining but decreased by 20.7% in energy production.

Compared with September last year, the HICP rose by 5.2%. The HICP is a flash estimate, which will be revised based on the September price data.
Retail trade volume began to decline in August
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2025, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was €906 million. Compared with August 2024, the volume of retail trade turnover decreased by 2%.
