Today, on 28 December, Statistics Estonia presents an overview of the availability and quality of personal, family and household data in registers based on the results of the trial census of the Register-Based Population and Housing Census.

Statistics Estonia gave HKScan Estonia AS the title of Best Respondent, the Defence Resources Agency the title of Statistics-Friendly Database Partner and Rivo Noorkõiv the title of Statistics-Friendly Research Partner of 2015.

October marked the beginning of the European Social Survey 2018, organised by the University of Tartu and Statistics Estonia. The survey is conducted in 30 European countries and focuses on such topics as age discrimination, family formation and having children. In Estonia, the survey covers 2,000 persons, who are going to be visited by Statistics Estonia’s interviewers.
