Turnover of enterprises Labour costs of enterprises Turnover of enterprises Statistics Estonia publishes short-term statistics on the turnover of enterprises. The interactive charts provide an overview of the situation of enterprises on the basis of VAT returns. The statistics cover companies liable to VAT and self-employed persons who have submitted a VAT return. Data are presented for three time periods. The longest time series start in 2005 and also cover the previous economic crisis. The shorter time series show changes since 2017, and in the case of municipalities, since 2018. The chart

According to Statistics Estonia, in November 2022, Estonia’s exports of goods at current prices remained at the same level and imports increased by 12% compared with November 2021.

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2020, the production of industrial enterprises was the same as in July 2019. Production decreased in manufacturing but increased in energy and mining.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2019, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased by 7.4% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2018. The average hourly gross wages and salaries were 8.22 euros, which is 9% more than in the same quarter of 2018.

According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the second quarter of 2024, Estonia’s exports and imports of services both grew by 3%. Exports of services totalled 3.1 billion euros and imports of services 2.3 billion euros at current prices. The balance of foreign trade in services was in surplus by 802 million euros, which is 39 million euros more than in the second quarter last year.
The number of job vacancies remains above 13,000

According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2022, there were 13,334 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. This is 26% more than in the same quarter of 2021. Approximately 5,000 people left their jobs at the initiative of the employer.
