In the second quarter of 2025, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were the highest in Tallinn (€2,479), in Harju county (€2,365), and in Tartu county (€2,175). “Compared with the second quarter of last year, the biggest increase in wages and salaries was seen in Põlva county (7.7%) and Rapla county (7%). Helle Bunder, leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that manufacturing production in October decreased for the second month in a row. “Although the volume of industrial production was up in half of the manufacturing activities in October, the overall volume of the sector declined, mainly due to a decrease in the production of computers and electronic products (3.1%), food products (1.9%), and electrical equipment (6.8%). A slight drop was also seen in the manufacture of wood, at 0.8%,” Bunder added. “The decline in the production of computers and electronic products is primarily due to
