According to Statistics Estonia, the total production of industrial enterprises in 2020 was 5% smaller than the year before. Production decreased in all three main industrial sectors: by 19% in energy production, by 13% in mining and by 4% in manufacturing.

According to Statistics Estonia, 154,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in September, with a total of 285,000 nights spent. The number of tourists decreased by nearly a half year on year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2019, the labour force participation rate was 71.6%, the employment rate was 68.4% and the unemployment rate was 4.4%. The annual average number of persons active in the labour market was 702,600 and persons employed numbered 671,300.
The quantity of pesticides sold decreased in 2022

777 tonnes of pesticides by active substance were placed on the market in Estonia in 2022, which is a sixth less than in 2021 and less than in 2020 as well. The majority of pesticides sold were again herbicides.
