According to Statistics Estonia, 37,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in May 2020. Their total number of nights spent was 83,000. The number of tourists decreased by 88% year on year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2021, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 1% year on year. Production decreased in mining by 13%, remained unchanged in manufacturing and increased by 33% in the energy sector.

There were more domestic tourists and fewer foreign tourists, but the total number of accommodated guests was significantly lower than in 2019 before the coronavirus crisis.
