According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, the production of electricity totalled 12 terawatt-hours, which is 17% more than in the previous year. Electricity production from renewable sources decreased 6% compared to 2015.

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2019, the Dwelling Price Index changed by 5.9% compared to the 1st quarter of the previous year. In yearly comparison, the Dwelling Price Index has shown an upward trend for the past nine years. Compared to the 4th quarter of 2018, the Dwelling Price Index changed by 1.7%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2012 compared to September of the previous year, the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises increased 7% at constant prices. Since March this year, the retail sales growth remained within 6 to 9% compared to the same month of the previous year.

The foreign trade turnover in September was the biggest this year so far

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2014, exports of goods increased by 7% and imports by 9% at current prices compared to September of the previous year. The increase in exports and imports was mostly influenced by the trade of electrical equipment and raw materials and products of chemical industry. Over the nine months of 2014, exports and imports declined by 3% compared to the same period of 2013.

In February the trade deficit increased

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2010 compared to January of the previous year the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises decreased by a tenth at constant prices. The slowdown of the decrease in retail sales that had started in December last year continued also in January this year.

In February, the trade in machinery and equipment and in transport equipment had the biggest decrease

According to Statistics Estonia, in February exports of goods from Estonia at current prices totalled 7.9 billion kroons and imports to Estonia 8.9 billion kroons. Compared to February of the previous year, exports declined by 26% and imports by 35%. The decrease was caused by a significant decline in the trade concerning machinery and equipment and transport equipment.

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2013, exports of goods increased by 6% and imports by 8% at current prices compared to April of the previous year. While the foreign trade declined in February and March compared to the previous year, then as of April, the trade increased. The increase in trade was mainly influenced by machinery and equipment.
