The share of goods of Estonian origin in total exports was also up from October last year, accounting for 66% in October 2024. Robert Müürsepp, team lead of national accounts at Statistics Estonia, said that the preliminary estimate shows signs of improvement in the Estonian economy in the fourth quarter of last year. “There was no more major recession, as the seasonally and working-day adjusted GDP remained unchanged from the third quarter of 2024. According to Statistics Estonia, 713.5 tonnes of pesticides by active substance were placed on the market in Estonia in 2023, which is a tenth less than in 2022 and less than in the four previous years as well. The majority of pesticides sold were again herbicides.
