People prefer e-commerce while enterprises prefer cloud services

According to Statistics Estonia, 56.5% of the population aged 16–74 used e-commerce in the last three months. Compared to last year, the overall popularity of e-commerce has remained the same, but the amounts spent on purchasing goods and services have increased. The results of the enterprise survey showed that more than half of the companies using the internet use paid cloud services.

The green economy seeks a balance between human needs and the conservation of natural resources. More energy and material-efficient production, protecting the environment, manufacturing products with higher value-added as well as eco-design should ensure that human activities are more compatible with the nature's cycles and not a burden on nature. Green economy statistics provide an overview of the environmental goods and services sector’s output; exports; employment; value added; share in total economy. Based on statistics, the state can decide how to manage resources sustainably.

According to Statistics Estonia, in January 2018, compared to January of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises decreased 1% at constant prices. The decrease in turnover was affected the most by enterprises engaged in the retail sales of automotive fuel.
The number of job vacancies remains over 10,000

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 4th quarter of 2018, there were approximately 10,500 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia. The number of job vacancies has exceeded 10,000 since the 1st quarter of 2017.
