Year on year, the number of domestic tourists fell, as it did in several months in 2024. Lauri Veski, team lead of consumer price statistics at Statistics Estonia, said that the consumer price index for the summer months exceeded the 5% mark every month compared with the previous year, reaching 6.1% in August.
