According to Statistics Estonia, in May 2018, domestic and foreign tourists staying in accommodation establishments numbered 304,000, which is 2% more than in May 2017. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists increased.

Until Sunday 25 March (inclusive), all those people who have not participated in the census and have not been contacted by an enumerator yet can notify Statistics Estonia and have an enumerator sent to their place of residence. By Friday, more than 1,000 people had notified Statistics Estonia.

Retail sales increased 6% in April and 8% in May compared to the same month of the previous year, whereas in June the retail sales growth accelerated even more.
