According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2022, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 7.8% at constant prices compared to March 2021. Output increased in all three sectors: by 6.6% in manufacturing, 5.2% in mining, and 21.3% in energy production.
According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2017, the exports of goods increased by 6% and imports by 9% compared to July 2016. Increased imports of base metals and articles of base metal and transport equipment contributed to the growth in imports.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2012, exports from Estonia amounted to 1.12 billion euros and imports to Estonia to 1.23 billion euros at current prices. In monthly basis, exports were larger only in May 2011; imports have never been as high before.
This week, 6–10 September 2021, external experts will be visiting the Tallinn office of Statistics Estonia. The experts will evaluate the production of official statistics in Estonia against the quality requirements of Eurostat (the statistical office of the European Union) and against the European Statistics Code of Practice.
According to Statistics Estonia, in August 2018, compared to August of the previous year, the turnover of retail trade enterprises increased by 2% at constant prices. Similarly to July, turnover showed a stable two-percent growth also in August compared to same month of the previous year.
According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2017, the exports and imports of goods increased both by 11% compared to October 2016. This year Finland has been the most important trade partner for Estonia. In October, exports to Finland increased by 18% and imports from Finland by 15%.
