According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2022, Estonia’s exports of goods increased by 4% and imports by 31% compared to April 2021. Faster growth in imports contributed significantly to the increase of trade deficit, which reached 542 million euros in April.
According to Statistics Estonia, in 2014, the number of passengers served by Estonian transport enterprises decreased by 2% and the freight volume in tonnes decreased by 5% compared to the previous year. Passenger traffic volume increased by 6% in passenger-kilometres, but freight turnover fell 15% in tonne-kilometres.
According to Statistics Estonia, in June 2017, the producer price index of industrial output changed by -0.3% compared to May and by 3.3% compared to June 2016.
In December 2020, the producer price index of industrial output, which expresses changes in the producer prices of industrial goods manufactured in Estonia for the domestic market and for exports, increased by 0.7% compared to November 2020 and by 0.7% compared to December 2019.

Passenger traffic volume increased by 10% and freight turnover increased by 7% compared to 2014.
In August 2019, the producer price index of industrial output fell by 0.2% compared to July 2019 and by 1.3% compared to August 2018. The export and import price indices fell compared to both July 2019 and August 2018.
This year, Statistics Estonia awards the 11th young statistician’s prize named after Albert Pullerits. The prize is given to one young student whose Bachelor's or Master's thesis applies or develops a statistical method.
According to Statistics Estonia, in March 2016, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.8% compared to February 2016 and by -2.0% compared to March 2015.
In July 2019, the change in the producer price index of industrial output was 0.1% compared to June 2019 and -0.2% compared to July 2018.
