According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2015, exports of goods decreased by 7% and imports by 4% compared to February of the previous year. The decrease in exports and imports was mostly influenced by a fall in the trade of mineral products and mechanical appliances.

Milk production increased for the fourth year in a row

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, the production of milk amounted to 762,300 tons in 2013, which is 6% more than a year earlier. The number of dairy cows did not change compared to the previous year, but milk production per cow increased.
In the 1st quarter, the number of job vacancies increased

According to Statistics Estonia, there were 7,200 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 1st quarter of 2014. The number of job vacancies increased by 13% compared to the previous quarter and by 3% compared to the 1st quarter of 2013.
