More than 185,100 foreign and 135,100 domestic tourists were accommodated in Estonia in May. At the end of 2024, there were 2.4 million poultry in Estonia. 97% of these were hens and cocks, and the remaining 78,200 were other poultry. Johanna Linda Pihlak, analyst at Statistics Estonia, said that the rise in retail trade volume in June was influenced by stores selling manufactured goods and by enterprises engaged in the retail sale of automotive fuel – the turnover volume of each was up by 12% year on year. “However, the turnover volume of grocery stores continued to decline, falling by 4% compared with June last year,” Pihlak added.
