According to Statistics Estonia, in June, the turnover of retail trade enterprises was 896 million euros. Compared with June 2022, turnover fell by 8% at constant prices.

2019 was a favourable year for crop farmers, resulting in record total production as well as production per hectare. According to Statistics Estonia, 1.25 million tourists stayed in accommodation establishments in the three summer months – June, July, August – of 2023, up by 1% from a year earlier but down by 12% from the summer of 2019. Compared with last summer, there were more foreign and fewer domestic tourists in accommodation establishments.
