According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2024, exports of goods increased by 3% and imports by 6% compared with April 2023. Exports of goods amounted to more than €1.5 billion and imports to over €1.8 billion at current prices. The trade deficit was €305 million, which is €65 million more than in April last year.

In 2023, Estonia’s exports of goods amounted to €18.2 billion and imports to €21.2 billion at current prices. Exports decreased by 16% and imports by 17% compared with 2022. According to Statistics Estonia, in February exports of goods from Estonia at current prices totalled 7.9 billion kroons and imports to Estonia 8.9 billion kroons. Compared to February of the previous year, exports declined by 26% and imports by 35%. The decrease was caused by a significant decline in the trade concerning machinery and equipment and transport equipment.
