In July, industrial output started to grow
According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2026, the total production of industrial enterprises increased by 2.3% at constant prices compared with July last year. Output increased in all three industrial sectors: by 13.5% in mining, by 16% in energy production and by 1.1% in manufacturing.
Exports of services exceeded imports by one billion euros for the first time
According to Statistics Estonia and Eesti Pank, in the second quarter of 2026, Estonia’s exports of services grew by 5% and imports by 1% compared with the same quarter of 2025. Exports of services amounted to over 3.7 billion and imports to nearly 2.7 billion euros at current prices.
Construction volume increased for the second quarter in a row
According to Statistics Estonia, in the second quarter of 2026, the total production value of Estonian construction enterprises in Estonia and abroad increased by 3.8% compared with the second quarter of 2025. Considering only the domestic market, the rise in construction volume was 4.6%.
