According to preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in 2008 the total profit of enterprises’ sector was 39 billion kroons, which is by a fourth less than in the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, there were more than 8,100 job vacancies in the enterprises, institutions and organisations of Estonia in the 2nd quarter of 2012 – this is 29% more than in the same period last year. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the number of job vacancies has been increasing since the 2nd quarter of 2010, after the decline in 2008 and 2009.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2014, the gross hourly earnings of female employees were 23.3% lower than the gross hourly earnings of male employees. The gender pay gap decreased by 1.5 percentage points compared to the previous year.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2021, the construction price index increased by 8.3% compared to the average of 2020. In the fourth quarter of last year, the construction price index rose by 3.0% compared to the third quarter, while the index growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 reached a record high – 14.7%.

According to Statistics Estonia, in October 2013, the gross hourly earnings of female employees were 24.8% lower than the gross hourly earnings of male employees, and the gender pay gap grew by 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous year. The gender pay gap was almost non-existent in transportation and storage.
