According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2012, the net sales, costs and total profit of the business sector increased compared to the previous quarter as well as to the same quarter of the previous year. At the same time, the high comparison basis makes the growth rate slower.

According to Statistics Estonia, 13,000 tourists stayed in Estonian accommodation establishments in April. Their total number of nights spent was 43,000. The number of tourists decreased by 95% year on year.

The list of economic units is a helpful tool primarily for those respondents who are required to report in statistical questionnaires financial transactions or financial assets and liabilities broken down by customer or type of transaction, e.g. loans granted and deposits taken by credit institutions or lease claims of customers of leasing companies. The list of economic units is published once a year (in December) and includes economic units that have been economically active in at least one of the last three years. 86% of Estonian people are willing to review and update their personal information in the population register and in the register of buildings before the population census begins at the end of this year. Still, only 16% of the population, on average, have logged into these registers over the last year, as revealed by the survey carried out by Kantar Emor.

According to Statistics Estonia, in 2016, a household member spent an average of 408 euros per month, which is 13 euros more than in 2015. Compulsory expenditure, i.e. unavoidable food and dwelling expenses, accounted for 40% of the household budget, remaining at the level of the previous year.
