According to Statistics Estonia, in the 2nd quarter of 2018, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,321 euros, having increased by 6.4% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2017. The year-on-year growth in average monthly gross wages and salaries was 1.3 percentage points slower than in the previous quarter.

According to the preliminary data of Statistics Estonia, in October 2018, the gender pay gap was present in all economic activities. The pay gap was biggest in financial and insurance activities (32.2%) and smallest in transportation and storage (1.9%).

According to Statistics Estonia, in the 1st quarter of 2018, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were 1,242 euros, having increased by 7.7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2017. The year-on-year growth in average monthly gross wages and salaries was 0.2 percentage points higher than in the previous quarter.

According to Statistics Estonia, the pilot Census of the 2011 Population and Housing Census (REL 2011) will take place in nine local governments of Estonia from 31 December until 31 March. According to Statistics Estonia, the data of the Innovation Survey show that 56.8% of enterprises were innovative in 2010. The innovativeness of enterprises remained on the level of 2008, when the innovative enterprises accounted for 56.4%.
